Fulani Killed a Farmer

ANOTHER KILLING WITNESSED IN PLATEAU COMMUNITY

In prosecution of the ongoing genocide being witnessed in Plateau State and its environs, the suspected Fulani militias are reported to have meted out another cat of terrorism on the natives of Kwi Community, Riyom LGA of Plateau State at about 1:00am of 21st May, 2023, resulting to the murder of Mr. Nuhu Yakubu Nyango, who is said to have been shot dead by militias from Fass settlement of Jol Community where most of the attacks carried out within that axis are staged therefrom.

On visiting the scene, it’s gathered that, “the attackers were on mischievous grazing on out farmlands at midnight hours of 1:00am of today, 21st May, 2023. We went to apprehend the cows which we did but were resisted with gunfire that engulfed Mr Nuhu Yakubu Nyango, aged 32 (a Vigilante) here in Kwi Community, Riyom LGA of Plateau State” said an eyewitness that pleads anonymity.

According to another escapee, “when we were on surveillance against possible invasions by the Fulani mostly from Fass settlement, we observed herd of Cows grazing on our Maize farmlands, that’s what they have been doing in every night, for this is also known by security agents who keep cautioning the Fulani, but wouldn’t heed to such warnings,” despite the effort made by Sector 6 Commander of Operation Safe Haven to ensure a stoppage to killings and other forms of aggression in the general area.

At the burial which was done according to Christian rites, hundreds of mourners greeted with a farewell to the deceased, it was said that, “the Fulani have ceaselessly been carrying out overnight grazing since after the general elections, and security agents have been promptly informed about the terrible activities of the attackers…’ in Kwi and environs, but the situation remains unabated up to date.
