The Emancipation Centre for Crisis Victims in Nigeria is a Non-Governmental Organization registered in Nigeria under Company and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) in 2018. The Centre envisions a Nigerian society where the poor victims of violence and crisis have access to justice, material and Psycho-social supports necessary for their wellbeing and welfare.

What We Do

Its work depends on several legal teams both within and outside the Centre to handle issues relating to children, women, men and the aged, particularly for victims that need justice, materials and psycho-social supports. The Centre also facilitates the provision of free legal services from volunteers, collaborating firms and NGOs through networking and collaboration with such bodies. Similarly, the Centre gets involved in the management of Internally Displaced people’s camps by organizing volunteers, professionals and supporters in order to provide immediate relief, rehabilitation and gradual restoration services including Peace-building activities. In order to achieve its objectives and mission, the Centre collaborates widely in Nigeria and beyond.
