BANDITS KILLED 2 SECONDARY SCHOOL TEACHERS IN PLATEAU

The staff and native inhabitants of Kwi Community in Riyom LGA, Plateau State have been set in a state of mourning over the attack and killing of two staff and injure of the Vice Principal of BECO Comprehensive Secondary School, Kwi, where the staff were holding a meeting.

According to local source under the condition of anonymity, “we heard unusual noise within the school environment during Staff meeting, compiling students’ results. We stepped out to ascertain what was happening. Lo and behold, cows were in the school premises. We asked the Fulani to have their cows driven away. Instead of complying, they rather filed out their arms and opened gunfire at us..” resulting to the the dead of recently wedded couples, Rwang Danladi and wife, Mrs Sandra Rwang Danladi, who are the staff of the school while Mr Dalyop Emmanuel Ibrahim sustained fatal injury, now on medical admission at Jos University Teaching Hospital. Meanwhile, there’s tension and agitation by concerned citizens, calling for military action on Fass, where alleged Bandits and Fulani Militias(some identified) have been lunching out armed invasions on villages and communities in and around the general area.
