The people of Plateau have continued witnessing ceaseless attacks and killings masterminded by Fulani Militias, who invaded Kubong and Kuwes villages of Mangu Local Government Area and Sambak village of Riyom Local Government Area where 13 and 7 unsuspecting people respectively were shot dead in last night coordinated attacks at about 9-10:00pm, 20th June, 2023.

According to an eyewitness who pleads anonymity, “the invasion at Sambak village of Rahoss, Riyom LGA was around 10:00pm. The attackers came in and opened gunfire at two people who were on surveillance after returning from burial of one villager nagged by a vehicle last evening,” he said. Unfortunately for the two injured person hit by gun, non of them survive the second attack meted out on a short bus that was hired to rescue them as “..the attackers opened another gunfire at the bus, killing 7 people,”‘ who are:

1. Dachung Gyang, 35

2. Dalyop Gyang, 27

3. Yohanna Yakubu, 38

4. Iliya Davou Dalyop, 38

5. Danjuma Davou, 38

6. Davou Gyang, 36

7. Dachung Dalyop, 37,

while 13 people killed, villages of Kubong and Kuwes in Boi District of Mangu LGA razed down.
